Ageless Adventures will join Collette Tours to uncover the unique and magical charms of Austria and Germany at Christmastime and the incredible Christkindlesmarkt (Christmas Market). Spend five nights nestled in the heart of the Alps in the historic town of Innsbruck, Austria. Highlights of the tour include the many Christmas markets glittering with decorations where you will be entertained by old traditions and customs, entertainment, delicious local delicacies, and of course shopping the unique gifts. Travel by train to the town of Seefeld and breathe in pure Alpine air on a horse-drawn carriage. As well visit the storybook town of Salzburg with iconic sites from “The Sound of Music” and cliffside Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria. This Christmas getaway ends in Munich, Germany where they pull out all the stops for the holiday season. Munich Christmas Market at Marienplatz is a sight to behold!
(This tour is very active. There will be a lot of walking (3 – 5 km over the course of a day) over various terrains including cobblestones and moderate hills and altitudes of up to 6,000 feet)
