This past May I had the privilege of leading three BC tours, the Women’s Wellness tour to the Kingfisher Resort and Spa; and two Okanagan Winery tours. What a great time we had! On the Women’s Wellness tour we had fabulous west coast cuisine and spa treatments to die for. We included a water treatment which was a series of water features and was a lot of fun, we renamed it “the car wash”. We offered a “gentle” yoga class and I was surprised to learn that it was the first time for many. Some commented that it was so enjoyable that they would try a class back home. We did a side tour to Hornby Island and enjoyed a great meal at the newly renovated Sea Breeze Resort. One of the highlights was a visit to a private garden and if that wasn’t enough one of the owners of the garden had built a small train and tracks that covered the 2 acres of the garden, it was amazing!
We have been offering Okanagan Winery tours for the past 6 years, each year we offered different hotels and venues. This year was one of my favorites. First of all, it was great to see so many repeat customers that I have known now for years. The Watermark Resort was very well received and all the wineries did a great job with special mentions to Nk’Mip Cellars and Liquidity Wineries. So much good food, wine, and great company. I am sure we all went home well pampered and at least 5 pounds heavier. The difficulty now is…how are we ever going to out do ourselves in 2016?! Stay tuned!
