At Ageless Adventures we realize the importance of creating an inclusive and welcoming group tour. You might be surprised to hear that 50% of any Ageless Adventures tour group are single travellers. We find that many guests prefer travelling single for many reasons. In one sense you have the best of both worlds, you can be with a group of like-minded people during the day and then have your privacy at night.
In order to ensure that our solo passengers feel like a part of the group we make sure that when meals are not included that restaurant options are available so that guests can choose to eat together if they like. As well, we offer social events to encourage passengers to get to know each other during downtime. Plus, there is safety when travelling as a group, which is important especially for single women.
Travelling solo does not have to mean being on your own. In fact it can be an opportunity to meet new people and make connections. When you’re on your own you may be more likely to strike up a conversation with a stranger or join a group activity. Historically single rates have been prohibitive for many, especially when some tour costs were double for single travellers. At Ageless Adventures we have worked hard to keep the gap between double and single to a minimum.
If you are travelling single but interested in sharing please don’t hesitate to contact our office and let us know. We will make every effort to match you with another guest who will be a compatible travel companion. Once we find another single person we would connect you with them and you can arrange to meet each other either by phone or in person. It would then be up to you to determine if you felt it would be a good fit for you to travel together. There have been many lifelong friendships forged on our tours!
