Kudos from a new customer

Dear Melinda,

I had the pleasure of meeting you at the pre-border stop on our “Ring of Fire” tour and I would like to let you know how extremely impressed I am with your company, Stefanie, Sheryl and Bruce.

Right from my first phone call inquiring about the tour and then booking it, Stefanie was most pleasant, helpful and efficient. Even when I thought I’d be complicating arrangements by asking to be dropped off at the Tsawwassen ferry terminal, rather than my North Van pick-up address, Stefanie couldn’t have been more supportive. This was a very promising start.

The pick-up time at my brother’s home in North Van was 7:10 am so, when the taxi arrived exactly at 7:10 am, I knew I was in very capable hands! The rest of the trip unfolded in the same manner. Everyone was so very friendly and welcoming that I didn’t have a chance to feel like a newcomer. The obvious number of repeat customers on the tour speaks volumes about your company.

I can’t say enough about Sheryl and Bruce and what superb professionals they are, even when dealing with stressful situations. Their actions in response to the emergency evacuation of the shopping mall, where we had a lunch stop and had to get everyone aboard and move the bus before fire trucks arrived, and to the unexpectedly-prolonged delay due to overly-diligent Customs’
inspection, while taxis were awaiting our arrival, were nothing other than calm and collected efficiency.

Bruce is a phenomenal driver and a most kind and thoughtful gentleman. I am not the most relaxed person when it comes to driving on narrow, windy mountain roads, where one can see the drop-off so close to the edge of the road and the valley oh so far below, but, even on the road to and from the Windy Ridge site, I had no qualms with Bruce’s skillful and smooth driving.
When my suitcase handle decided to disintegrate, Bruce immediately said he’d go to find a hardware store to get parts even though he’d already been driving all day. i wouldn’t let him do it but the offer really meant a lot and speaks to his depth of caring about his passengers.

It’s almost impossible to speak highly enough about Sheryl and the immense care she took of all of us. Thoughtful, caring, hard-working, fun, entertaining, quietly efficient and warm-hearted are only a start to describing someone whom even the Energizer Bunny wouldn’t have a chance of out-doing! Sheryl thought of everything to make sure we were comfortable and happy, and then kept going the extra miles to think of something else she could be doing to make the whole experience even better for us.
Although I am a first-timer with Ageless Adventures, I have been fortunate to do a lot of travelling both nationally and internationally in my personal and professional life, including many bus tours. Nothing in my past equals the very special experience of these five days and the major role that Sheryl played in it. She is a gem, and I believe so feel all of my fellow travellers.

Thank you, Melinda, for your marvellous company and my most memorable five-day tour with you. It will most certainly not be my last!
