Flying High at Desolation Sound

Hi Melinda,
I came back on such a high from this tour it has taken a day or two to settle down!
Bruce is a good driver and Robert is a fun and very informative tour guide.
Lunch at Pebbles in Sechelt was very well organized and really enjoyable.
I hadn’t expected the hotel at Lund to be as nice as it is and the food really good and staff very friendly.
The boat trip on Agate Pass was just super and so nice to see the sun for 2 hours at Prideaux Harbour and lunch was great. Joanie and Ted were perfect hosts and I know I would go again-DV.
Nobody can control the weather, so one just has to enjoy and make the best of it and at least we were able to board that last ferry to Quadra…TsaKwaLuten Lodge is such a great place to stay.
The talk by Jodie at the Nuyumbalees Cultural Centre was one of the best I have heard and I have heard a lot of profs. during my working days. I have been to Rebecca Spit many years ago and it’s too bad we couldn’t have enjoyed it in the sun, but back at the Lodge it was a lovely walk in the wind and some spits of rain and bit of sun to the lighthouse with the waves crashing in – really exhilarating.
Food was very good throughout the trip.
Thanks, Melinda.
