Welcome to Manitoba! Upon arrival in Winnipeg, check in to the Grand Winnipeg Airport Hotel, located just steps from the terminal. This evening, gather with your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner, hosted by your Frontiers North Interpretive Guide. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet the group, review the journey ahead, and begin building excitement for your northern adventure.

After an early breakfast, depart on a scenic flight north to Churchill, where forest gives way to tundra along Hudson Bay. On arrival, enjoy a guided Churchill and Area Tour, exploring local landmarks and learning about the region’s ecology and Indigenous heritage. Lunch is at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to the Itsanitaq Museum, featuring an exceptional collection of Inuit artifacts and Arctic art. Check in to your centrally located hotel before dinner at a local restaurant and an evening Cultural Presentation offering insight into life in the North.

Spend a full day on a Tundra Buggy® Adventure in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area, one of the world’s best places to observe polar bears. With access to areas such as Gordon Point and Polar Bear Point, search for polar bears, Arctic foxes, ptarmigan, and other subarctic wildlife alongside expert guides. Return to Churchill for dinner and an evening cultural presentation.
