Trip Itinerary
Begin the tour by heading east on the Trans-Canada Highway to Hope. Ascend the Hope-Princeton Highway to Manning Park for lunch and then travel through beautiful countryside to Penticton. Nestled between two lakes, Penticton enjoys long, hot summers, dry winters, and more than 2000 hours of sunshine each year. Arrive at the Penticton Lakeside Resort for a three night stay. Enjoy dinner and a glass of wine with the group tonight at a local restaurant.
Mid morning visit Summerland Sweets followed by a waterfront lunch at a local restaurant. All aboard the Kettle Valley Railway for a 90 minute steam train ride along the hillsides overlooking beautiful Okanagan orchards and vineyards. You are on your own for the evening. Visit Dirty Laundry Vineyard for a wine tasting. Dinner is at the resort. Enjoy a stroll along Okanagan Lake.
Depart the resort after breakfast to Upper Bench Winery & Creamery, situated in Penticton at the gateway to the picturesque Naramata Bench. Stop in and enjoy a sampling of wine and hand-crafted artisan cheese. Continue on to Lake Breeze Winery, with its spectacular view overlooking the Okanagan Valley, for an included lunch. Travel to Okanagan Falls and See Ya Later Ranch to round out the afternoon. Later, depart from the resort by coach for a short drive to Sociale Enoteca on Lakeshore Drive in Penticton for dinner.
Travel to Osoyoos and the Osoyoos Desert Centre for a guided walking tour. The Nk’Mip desert lands are one of Canada’s three most endangered ecosystems and are home to many endangered plant and animal species. Nk'Mip Cellars is the setting for a lovely lunch with an awesome view. After lunch travel through the Similkameen Valley en route to your point of origin.
