Trip Itinerary

Depart the Lower Mainland for Harrison Hot Springs. Spend some time exploring Birchwood Dairy Farm with a self-guided tour before arriving at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort for a two night stay. Join the group for dinner in the hotel’s restaurant. The rooms are located in the main hotel.

After breakfast depart for the shores of Harrison Lake for a three hour boat tour, leaving the lake for the currents of Harrison River. There, you will spot some of the area's abundant salmon and sturgeon population, as well as barking seals and bald eagles keeping watch high overhead. Every fall millions of salmon return to the Harrison River to spawn. This natural wonder is matched by an incredible migration of thousands of Bald Eagles who return annually to the Harrison Mills area to feast on the salmon. During this tour you are fully immersed in the beautiful eco-system around us which you can admire right from our cozy and accommodating boat. The evening is yours to enjoy, have a soak in the hotels mineral pool, or explore the quaint town of Harrison Hot Springs. Dinner is on your own.

After breakfast depart the resort for the Kilby Historic Site, an authentic BC heritage experience featuring a museum, friendly farm animals, and a cafe. Enjoy a tour, lunch, and a show. Then its on to the Minter Country Garden Store for a seasonal planting activity and time for shopping before returning home.
