George R. Burns was the vice president for MCA Records for many years prior to becoming one of the founders of Mandate Tours. He enjoyed an extremely successful 20 year career in the record business. Since 1988 George has been involved in tour development, advertising, and the company direction.
Melinda Burns was a program co-ordinator for the Oakridge Seniors Centre for 7 years. During her time at the senior centre she planned and implemented a variety of programs and was responsible for fundraising and the general running of the 800 member centre. Melinda joined Mandate Tours in 1993 and is responsible for tour development, sales, tour guiding and the day-to-day operations of Ageless Adventure Tours. Melinda holds a Diploma of Marketing from BCIT.
