Join us on one of our most popular Okanagan resort getaways with a three night stay at the waterfront Watermark Beach Resort. Travel from the Lower Mainland to Osoyoos via the Hope-Princeton Highway. Enjoy this scenic highway as the coach travels through Manning Provincial Park. Each suite at the resort offers a view of Osoyoos Lake and is located in downtown Osoyoos. Dinner tonight is at the resort on their patio with a terrific view of the lake. (weather permitting)
Depart from the resort for a drive along the famed Golden Mile and Black Sage Road wine-growing district, named for its rich history of farming that dates back to the early 1900’s. Enjoy wine, seated in a private room at Burrowing Owl Winery as you learn about the world of wine from Burrowing Owl’s perspective. Travel to the Golden Mile and visit the Tinhorn Creek Vineyards. Enjoy lunch at Tinhorn Creek’s Miradoro Restaurant - a food and wine pairing extravaganza. From the patio enjoy the spectacular views of Osoyoos Lake, the natural desert land, and newly planted vineyards and orchards. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy the amenities of the resort or enjoy a stroll along the lake.
Travel to a fan favourite, Silver Sage Winery, and sample many varieties of their award winning wines. The highlight for today will be your visit to the new Phantom Creek Estates, a 100-million-dollar winery with an amphitheatre. At this elegant winery experience a wine pairing charcuterie lunch. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy the amenities of the resort or enjoy a stroll along the lake.
After a leisurely morning travel back through the Similkameen Valley to Vancouver. Enroute to lunch in Princeton visit Clos du Soleil Winery, in the heart of Cawston, the organic fruit capital of BC.
