Maritimes & Newfoundland Appreciation

The following letter was received from two of our passengers who went on our Canadian Maritimes tour and continued on to our Newfoundland & Labrador Tour. We certainly appreciate such wonderful feedback!!…

Dear Melinda and George,

It is now more than one month since we returned from our 26-day spell in Eastern Canada, and we are still reveling in all the memories we have of our marvelous time with Ageless Adventure Tours seeing what the other side of Canada has to offer.

Having gown up in the Montreal area, I had visited many of the areas covered by both the Canadian Maritimes and Newfoundland and Labrador Tours, but it was a delight to revisit these provinces with tour guides who filled in endless details previously missed. For René, it was a real eye opener to see the opposite side of the continent as up until August of this year, he hadn’t been east of Quebec City in Canada.

We must compliment you on the details that were incorporated into the tours. We can now really appreciate the amount of research and planning that has to go into each tour that your company offers. As clients, it was so neat to be able to just sit back and learn about some of what we were passing and what we would be seeing/doing or had done. Your itineraries made each part of the tours abundantly clear and created a wonderful feeling of anticipation.

We found the tours well paced. Enjoying the occasional two-night stay in a community and not having to be on the road very often before 9:00 am was most welcome. How carefully you had planned so that we would get to our next destination at an appropriate time. We appreciated all the evening entertainment that was included and marveled that we were in the appropriate community on the nights that special entertainment was being offered.

Certainly our tour guides were very well versed in the areas that we covered. Although very different in their ways of escorting us around, Sheryl Galpin (Maritime Tour) and Betty Hoyt (Newfoundland and Labrador Tour) both excelled in making sure we were well cared for at all times. And what can we say about bus driver Neil (The Navigator, as we called him at times) but high praise. One could really tell why he has been driving bus for 40 years. He was so courteous, helpful, pleasant, and obliging at all times and could get his bus into and out of the tightest locations without even a scratch. He made a couple of special stops just for me so that I could get a photograph of a few things that were particularly meaningful to me – often associated with the Grenfell Regional Health Services located in Northern Newfoundland and Labrador.

We were extremely fortunate with the weather we experienced – very little rain/drizzle and lots of hot sunny days – which, of course, added to the enjoyment of the many and varied activities that were included in our tour costs. We are not sure how you managed the weather, but we are very grateful nonetheless.

Having such a detailed and well planned-out itinerary certainly made our vacation time thoroughly enjoyable. We got so much more out of the trip because your company had done mega amounts of research and your guides had done their homework. For our Newfoundland and Labrador Tour, Betty Hoyt, our guide, commented on several occasions that your planned tour was the best she had conducted from many tour companies she had worked for over the years.

We certainly will be recommending Ageless Adventure Tours to others considering taking an all inclusive tour and hope that we can also partake of some of your upcoming offerings.

We wish you and your company many more years of travels and success.

Most sincerely,

Judith (Judy) and René Doyharcabal
